  • Marine Terminal

Our marine terminal dramatically reduces transportation costs, making shipping to the Eastern Seaboard and elsewhere in the world cost effective and highly competitive. Furthermore, access to maritime transport means a substantial reduction in the environmental footprint generally associated with cement transportation. In fact, just one ship can carry the equivalent of 1,500 truckloads of cement.  The deep-water port (approximately 35′) can accept 60,000 ton vessels which provides McInnis considerable economic advantages.

Additionally, since the marine terminal is on deep water and in the Gulf of the St. Lawrence, it is protected from icing and therefore can operate year-round.
