Kiln System

The kiln system consists of a 5-stage, 2-string preheater, a 17′ x 246′ rotary kiln and a cutting edge cooler with intermediate roll crusher.

The kiln line is rated at 6,000 mtpd clinker production.  Aiming at having world-class consistently high-performing cement, McInnis installed a proprietary process control system to monitor and control all aspects of the facility and an automated, real-time adjustment laboratory – insuring product quality in every phase of the process. The plant will follow ISO 9001:2015 standards.  The kiln will utilize a Selective Non-catalytic Reduction System (SCNR) to manage NOx emissions below Canadian thresholds.
